Good things are worth repeating!
In case you missed out on a site I pointed out in my last posting, from now on, get to it withput delay!
I have been an ardent fan and student of the ideas and writings of Jaime McKenzie whose website From Now On is a virutal(no pun intended) treasure chest of provocative, relevant and urgent knowledge and wisdom. This posting is just an attempt to share what I feel are some very important and pertinent ideas concerning the use of IT in education.
Read his ideas on how to create online modules, what he calls Power Learning, with quick and easy to use templates and scaffolded teaching.
Follow that up with either a read through of his recent articles or search through his writings from a subject index. ( all this can be found on the index page of the site but I just wanted to make the journey easier, :}) I guarantee you that there will be something to set you thinking or spur you on to think more deeply or reflectively about using IT in teaching and learning.
